Welcome to the official website of the PORG Model United Nations, a conference in the Mother of Cities – Prague, Czech Republic. PORGMUN, founded and organized by a dedicated group of students from Gymnázium PORG Libeň and Nový PORG, is a high school MUN with three years of tradition, annually hosting circa 200 delegates in the confines of gymnázium Nový PORG.
The entire PORGMUN team is currently head over heels in plans for the next conference taking place from 7th to 10th of April 2016.

What is PORGMUN?
PORGMUN is a four-day conference simulating the real United Nations, its structure and modus operandi. This year’s conference will be hosting nine committees, including the Security Council, each with its own topics and themes. As a delegate, you will represent your country’s stance and opinions in the debates.
Once the registration is opened, you will be able to pick a country you would like to represent and the committee to represent it in. PORGMUN will also be accompanied by various social and cultural events and feature interesting guest speakers.
Where will the PORGMUN take place?
PORGMUN is set in the beautiful city of Prague, the political and cultural crossroad of Central Europe and the capital of the Czech Republic. The conference will be held at Gymnázium Nový PORG.
When is the conference?
The PORGMUN Opening Ceremony will be taking place on Thursday 7th April 2016. There, the delegates will receive all essential materials and have a chance to get to know each other. The conference will end with a Closing Ceremony on Sunday, April 10.
Who can participate?
Are you interested in politics, diplomacy, and debating? Do you want to put your English skills to the test? Or is it just an aspiration to try something new and make friends?
No matter which one it is, if you are between 14 and 20 years old and able to debate in English fluently, you are welcome to take part as one of the 200 delegates of PORGMUN!
